Just 90 Days...3 months...

I am starting a blog to keep myself accountable while I do a 90 day challenge using the Visalus shakes. I have tried every other shake on the market before, but after doing research I really do feel like this one will not just help me lose weight but help me get HEALTHY. I think I read in the information somewhere that there is enough nutrition in just one shake to equal over $100 in food and over 8,600 calories. Wowza! People don't just do this for weight loss. Some do it for health issues, to build muscle, or even gain weight. I am honestly just really excited to see how I feel at the end of these 90 days.

I started the shakes yesterday and am just trying to get myself familiar with the system and recipes to make them. I will say that this is the best shake I have tried! They call it the shake that tastes like cake. Umm...Yum! I weighed myself yesterday morning and I was a whopping 210 lbs. *sigh* This makes me angry for so many reasons.  January of 2010 I started a diet with a friend of mine and by July 2010 I had lost 65 lbs. I was down to 140 lbs. and I have let myself gain back every single pound. There were a bunch of reasons that it happened but the feeling of what it felt like to actually be in shape is so fresh in my mind that I am not going to let it happen again!

Day 1: Weigh in 210 lbs.
Breakfast - I had a Visalus shake in the morning with 2 scoops of the mix, the peach complexion flavor booster, and almond milk. AM pack of my Vi-pack vitamins and 1 Metab-awake.
Snack - Cheese stick
Lunch -  was a root beer float Visalus shake with Clear Control. It was diet root beer, 2 scoops of mix, ice, and almond milk. That one was REALLY yummy.
Snack - Apple
Dinner - I had a little Christmas celebration with a few of my friends. So I didn't eat the greatest. I had 2 margaritas, chicken breast with lemon butter and capers, roasted red potatoes, spinach, and a piece of fudge.

Exercise: I took a 1.5 mile walk with the stroller around the neighborhood.

Day 2: I am normally going to only weigh myself once a week but since I went all out at dinner I was curious. But my weight was 207!!
Breakfast - Root Beer Float Visalus Shake with Clear Control. AM Vi-pack and 1 Metab-awake.
Snack - Cheese Stick

Snack -
Dinner -
